Our Kids Group Surf Lesson is designed to give your little ones the best start to their surfing journey (and give parents a little break of their own).

They'll make friends, build water confidence, learn essential surfing skills and knowledge, and no doubt bug you for more lessons year after year!

Ideal for kids aged 8-13 completely new to surfing or the casual holiday surfer looking for some supervised fun in white water waves.

Our Kids Group Surf Lessons are super small at five kids per instructor (compared to 8 at other schools), sothey get more 1-on-1 time with their instructor, progress faster, and feel safer.

All our lessons reflect what Blue Surf School is about: being professional, empathetic, knowledgeable, adaptable and fun.

What to Expect

Arrival - 30 Minutes BEFORE Lesson Starts:

Arrive and check-in | Help get the kids into their wetsuits | Meet their classmates | Meet their instructor and grab their boards | Head to the beach.

The Beach - First 30 Minutes:

Beach-based safety briefing | Surf etiquette and wave selection | Kid-friendly warm-up | How to catch and ride waves.

The Ocean - Final 60 Minutes:

Catching as many waves as possible with plenty of support from their instructor along the way.

Finish - Back at Blue Surf:

Have a debrief | Get changed | Make the most of your 10% food and drinks discount at Recharge Coffee by buying the kids an ice cream!
