Ideal for individuals, couples, or groups of any surfing level - your private surf instructor designs the lesson plan to suit you, giving you or your group exactly what you need at that moment of your surfing journey.

All our lessons reflect what Blue Surf School is about: being professional, empathetic, knowledgeable, adaptable and fun.

So whether you're an experienced surfer looking to progress quickly, new to the sport, lacking water confidence and need a little more assurance, or just want to be away from the crowds - our private surf lessons are a great option.

What to Expect

Arrival - 30 Minutes BEFORE Lesson Starts:

Arrive and check-in | Change into your wetsuits | Meet your instructor and discuss the lesson | Head to the beach.

The Beach - First 30 Minutes:

Beach-based safety briefing | Assess the conditions and set goals | Exercise science based warm-up | Goal/technique-specific surfing drills.

The Ocean - Final 90 Minutes:

Catching as many waves as you can with plenty of support from your instructor along the way.

Finish - Back at Blue Surf:

Have a debrief | Get changed | Make the most of your 10% food and drinks discount at Recharge Coffee!

How to book:

    Select the lesson type, number of participants and lessons you'd like.

  • Fill in all participant's details -you'll need their full name, email, mobile, age and any medical conditions.

  • Complete payment and login to your auto-generated client portal anytime to book your remaining lessons at a date and time that suits you!
